Redux raises $5 million Series B funding
Redux, a world-leading provider of high-fidelity haptics and surface audio technology, has raised $5 million Series B funding.
The round was led by Golden ARIE Hi-Tech Ltd, a fund managed by ARIE Capital, with the participation of existing investors.
The funding will allow St Neots, UK-based Redux to grow the business and support multiple OEMs as they look to bring products to market based on Redux’s award-winning surface audio and haptics technology.
Redux is already working with leading brands in the consumer technology and automotive markets. The company is set to capitalise on the growing demand for truly interactive user interfaces that fully exploit the potential of combining tactile feedback and panel audio.
“At this pivotal moment in the market we see tremendous value creation potential in Redux in both the short and long-term,” said Simon Tobelem, CEO of ARIE Capital.
Nedko Ivanov, CEO, Redux, added: “We have developed a disruptive technology protected by more than 170 granted patents globally. With potential applications in many different market segments and wide engagement with tier one customers, we are on a mission to redefine the user experience for billions of consumers worldwide.”
