Brush coating technology

Brush coating technology for surfaces with low adherence and minimal friction (Ref: 11 NL 60FI 3KLB)A Dutch research institute has developed a proprietary brush coating technology that can be applied to different materials and shapes. It's based on specific polymers that covalently bind to a variety of surfaces resulting in thin coatings. The coating process is robust, relatively simple and has great flexibility. The coating can be used to create antifouling surfaces, protection and friction reduction of e.g. medical instruments. Licensing agreements and technological cooperation is sought.
