Spun laid cellulose-based nonwovens

Novel method for the production of spun laid cellulose-based nonwovens

A German SME developed a novel method for the production of filaments for cellulose-based nonwovens. The process is simple, robust in operation, environmentally friendly and sustainable. The process can fully convert paper-pulp into fibrous webs and does not need the more expensive dissolving pulp (pure cellulose). The SME is looking for industrial partners willing to implement and further develop the production process in order to achieve a stable production of marketable products.Ref: 11 DE 1695 3KLS
