Removal of radioactive and toxic pollutants from water

A Spanish research institute has developed a technology that confers super paramagnetic properties to diverse adsorbent materials. These materials preserve their sorption properties and at the same time can be easily recovered with the help of a magnetic field, which is useful for processes that imply separation, decontamination, water treatments, and removal of toxics and radioactive pollutants. Industrial partners interested to use this technology for water treatment are sought.Ref: 11 ES 28G2 3L3T
