Removal of radioactive and toxic pollutants from water

A Spanish research institute has developed a technology that confers super paramagnetic properties to diverse adsorbent materials. These materials preserve their sorption properties and at the same time can be easily recovered with the help of a magnetic field, which is useful for processes that imply separation, decontamination, water treatments, and removal of toxics and radioactive pollutants.
