Targeted anti-cancer drug delivery system

Enterprise Europe Network TOSI20150107001

A Slovenian research institution has developed a molecular system for delivery of anti-cancer drugs specifically to target sites, by using cathepsin inhibitors as guides towards cathepsins released by tumour cells.

The system prevents toxic side effects, reduces the dosage, and treatment costs. The researchers seek investment, technical cooperation, and/or joint venture partnership, with partners with the capacity to fund and/or carry out pre-clinical studies and to scale up the production.
