The 25th Anniversary annual Business Weekly Awards is underway and we are inviting entries from East of England companies of all sizes and every conceivable business sector.

To mark the 25th Anniversary, the Awards categories have been finessed to reflect the expansion of the East of England in the quarter-century since the Awards began. There are eight awards on offer: Startup of the Year, Cambridge Graduate Business of the Year, Engineering Excellence, KillerTechnology Champion, International Trade Champion, Life Science Innovation, Cambridge Torchbearer Award - and from these will be chosen a Business of the Year to join a Hall of Fame that includes Abcam, ARM, Autonomy, AVEVA, British Sugar, CSR, Domino, Horizon Discovery, Perkins Engines, Pi Group, Ryanair, TTP and Virata.

Closing date for entry is December 20 and the all-star presentation dinner will be held at Queens' College Cambridge on Tuesday March 17, 2015.

Which awards do you wish to enter for ?
For the most exciting start-up enterprise in any sector founded in the last 12 months.
For the most commercially successful Cambridge University spin-out.
For the engineering or manufacturing company that is deemed by the judges to have done most for the cause of industry in the preceding 12 months.
For the company in any technology sector whose product is deemed to be genuinely game changing. This will encompass biotech, wireless, software & ICT, CleanTech and Agri-Tech.
For the business that has done most in the last 12 months to broaden markets and export sales.
For the company, organisation or individual that has done most to further the cause of life science discovery for the benefit of human healthcare.
For the entrepreneur considered to have done most to further the cause of Cambridge on a global stage in the 25 years of the Business Weekly Awards.
For the standout business chosen from all categories that judges decide carries a real wow factor.
